| Recently we toured the Haas Factory in Oxnord CA. where some of our CNC machines are built. While there we learned about how Gene Haas came to build them in the early 1980's. We were privileged to the complete million square feet of manufacturing space, while walking above the shop floor, and the grounds outside where many replacement parts are stored. The reason we originally bought Haas machines 14 years ago is because they are made in the U.S.A. and if replacement parts were needed it wouldn't take weeks to get the machine back into operation. |
| While at the Haas factory we watched the intricacies of a 5 axis machine working. We would like to have one of those someday provided we can find a market for component parts that need to be produced with that kind of machine. |
